Awarding scholarships to poor students in Quy Chau district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 7, at Hoi-Nga Secondary School, Chau Hoi Commune (Quy Chau), the Military Telecommunications Group, Quy Chau Branch, in coordination with the District Association for Promotion of Education, organized the awarding of the first 40 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) of the program "For studious children" to primary and secondary school students in 4 communes: Chau Hoi, Chau Hanh, Chau Binh and Chau Nga communes.

It is known that in the 2014-2015 school year, the mountainous district of Quy Chau was awarded 100 scholarships by Viettel Military Telecommunications Group for 10 communes, each commune has 10 students from difficult family circumstances but with good academic performance receiving this scholarship.

According to the program implementation roadmap, Viettel will award the remaining 60 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties in 6 communes 135 in Quy Chau district in April.
