Scholarships awarded to underprivileged students in Quy Chau district.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 7th, at Hoi-Nga Secondary School in Chau Hoi commune (Quy Chau district), the Quy Chau branch of the Military Telecommunications Group, in coordination with the District's Education Promotion Association, awarded the first 40 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) of the "For Diligent Students" program to primary and secondary school students from four communes: Chau Hoi, Chau Hanh, Chau Binh, and Chau Nga.

It is known that in the 2014-2015 school year, the mountainous district of Quỳ Châu received 100 scholarships from Viettel Military Telecommunications Group across 10 communes, with 10 students from disadvantaged families but with good academic performance in each commune receiving this scholarship.

According to the program's implementation plan, Viettel will award the remaining 60 scholarships to underprivileged students in 6 communes under the 135 program in Quy Chau district during April.
