Awarding Vu A Dinh scholarships and bringing "warm Tet" to poor students in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of January 14, at Chau Khe Secondary School, Con Cuong District, the Central Council of Young Pioneers, the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Children in collaboration with Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the art exchange program 'Warm Tet for Children'.
Also attending were comrades Nguyen Long Hai - Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, Hoang Tu Anh - Director of the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Children.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of Con Cuong District Party Committee; Vi Van Son - Chairman of Con Cuong District People's Committee; Pham Tuan Vinh - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of a number of departments, branches and a large number of people of Con Cuong district.

The exchange program included many special art performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the love for the homeland and the country, praising spring. In addition, there were many reports and stage exchanges about the activities of the program "Warm Tet for Children".

This is an annual program launched by the Central Youth Union Secretariat. This year, the Central Youth Union chose Con Cuong as the place to organize "Warm Tet for Children" to show the concern of the Central Youth Union and economic and social organizations for children in remote, border and disadvantaged areas.

This is a bridge between individuals and organizations with good hearts, wishing to contribute and share a small part of themselves to improve social security, share and help children in especially difficult circumstances, those with less fortunate fates so that they can have a more prosperous and happier Tet, encourage and share so that they have the strength to rise up in life.

On this occasion, the Central Council of Young Pioneers awarded 40 Vu A Dinh scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and studied well; the Vietnam Children's Development Support Center awarded 55 warm winter blankets; and Thanh Nien Newspaper awarded 30 scholarships to students of Chau Khe Primary and Secondary School.
