The First Class Order of Merit was awarded to three veterans.
On the morning of August 24th, at the Do Luong District Party Committee and the Dien Chau District Party Committee, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony to award the First Class Military Merit Medal to the following comrades: Nguyen Khac Duc - Hamlet 7, Tan Son, Do Luong; Nguyen Van Tu - Block 3, Town, Do Luong; and Hoang Sinh - Dien Thinh, Dien Chau.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Duc was formerly a training assistant in the 51st detachment, 91st Regiment; Comrade Nguyen Van Tu was the former station chief in the 165th detachment, 95th Regiment; and Comrade Hoang Sinh was the former head of the finance department in the 95th Regiment. During their time working in Laos, these three comrades achieved many outstanding accomplishments in carrying out international duties.
Comrade Tran Cong Duong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, was authorized to present the medals to the aforementioned comrades.
