Presenting charitable houses to former Youth Volunteers.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 4th, the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Thai Hoa town, in coordination with Quang Tien ward, visited and handed over a house of gratitude to former youth volunteer Vo Trong Binh in Quang Tien ward. The house was funded by the Central Transport Workers' Union Charity Fund, worth 60 million VND.

Comrade Pham Duc Huan, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the town, presented gifts to the family of former Youth Volunteer Vo Trong Binh at the handover ceremony of the charitable house.

The family receiving the house is that of former Youth Volunteer Corps member Vo Trong Binh, residing in Le Loi block, Quang Tien ward. This is a family of former Youth Volunteer Corps members facing particularly difficult circumstances; both husband and wife are former Youth Volunteer Corps members. The house, built on their family land and valued at 60 million VND, has provided the family with a stable place to live.

The gift from the Central Transport Workers' Union Charity Fund demonstrates the spirit of mutual support and compassion, partly alleviating the pain caused by the consequences of war, and contributing to motivating former youth volunteers to continue upholding revolutionary traditions, overcoming difficulties, and striving to build a better life.

Comrade Nguyen Thi The, Chairwoman of the Youth Volunteer Association of the town, handed over the keys to the house of gratitude to the couple, former Youth Volunteers Vo Trong Binh and his wife.

It is known that, to date, the Central Transport Workers' Union Charity Fund has supported the renovation and repair of 4 houses for former youth volunteers in the area.
