Giving gifts to policy families in General Chu Huy Man's hometown
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 16, the Steering Committee of the Scientific Conference commemorating the 110th birthday of General Chu Huy Man, together with leaders of Nghe An province, visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Hung Hoa commune (Vinh city).
The working delegation included comrades: Major General Nguyen Hoang Nhien - Director of the Vietnam Military History Institute; Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Major General Phan Van Sy - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 4; Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Political Commissar of Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to 5 policy families who are war invalids and mothers of martyrs in Hung Hoa commune (Vinh city), the hometown of General Chu Huy Man. In addition to the gifts from the Workshop Steering Committee, each household also received gifts from the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Command of Military Region 4.

This is a sideline activity of the Scientific Conference commemorating the 110th anniversary of the birth of General Chu Huy Man (March 17, 1913 - March 17, 2023).
Hung Hoa Commune (Vinh City) is the hometown of General Chu Huy Man, where many exciting activities took place in the Nghe - Tinh Soviet movement.

The Scientific Conference with the theme "General Chu Huy Man, an outstanding military and political figure of the Vietnamese revolution - An outstanding son of Nghe An homeland" will be held on March 17, 2023, in Vinh City, Nghe An Province. This is a special occasion to provide more documents about the life, steadfast and indomitable revolutionary activities, as well as the great contributions of General Chu Huy Man to the revolutionary cause of the Party, State and the process of building, fighting and maturing of the Vietnam People's Army.
