Giving gifts to poor families on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2018
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 15, many units and individuals organized gift giving to poor and disadvantaged households in the province on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2018.
1. Nghi Loc donated 300 warm clothes to poor students

Continuing the Winter Warmth volunteer program and responding to the Tet For the Poor program in 2018, on the morning of January 15, the District Youth Union, Youth Union, and the Nghi Loc District Pioneer Council presented 300 new warm clothes and 6 bicycles to disadvantaged students in 7 communes in the west of Nghi Loc who are studying at Nghi Kieu 1 Primary School, Nghi Kieu 2, Nghi Kieu Secondary School, Nghi Cong Bac Primary School, Nghi Cong Nam, Nghi Dong and Nghi Dong Secondary School. The total value of the gifts is 60 million VND.
This is the second gift giving session in the "Winter Warmth" program organized by Nghi Loc Youth Union, implemented with the joint support of many cadres, union members, children and youth of the district and benefactors.
During this period, Nghi Thai Commune Youth Union presented 30 gifts, Nghi Thiet Commune Youth Union presented 5 gifts to disadvantaged students who strived to study well in the communes.
2. Nghe An State Treasury supports Tet For The Poor with more than 20 million VND
Responding to the appeal letter of the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on supporting and helping the poor to celebrate the 2018 Mau Tuat New Year, Nghe An State Treasury mobilized civil servants in the entire unit to contribute and supported 20,670,000 VND.

The delegation of Nghe An State Treasury led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hue - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director, together with representatives of the Trade Union and Youth Union of Nghe An State Treasury, held a ceremony to present 41 gifts to extremely poor households, each gift worth 500,000 VND in Ha Son commune, Quy Hop district.
In addition, sympathizing with the situation of Vo Hong Loi, a 6th grade student at Ha Son Secondary School, an orphan whose parents died, and whose brother also died in a work accident, and who is currently living alone, the Youth Union of the Nghe An State Treasury also donated some necessities such as rice, milk, instant noodles, candy... and cash for him to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
