Giving gifts, free medical examination and medicine worth 200 million VND to people in Ky Son district
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 6, Nghe An Customs Department coordinated with General Hospital 115 to visit and give Tet gifts to poor households in the border commune of Nam Can, Ky Son district.

Here, the delegation organized a gift giving program for 20 families in especially difficult circumstances, each family received 10 kg of sticky rice, a gift bag and 1 million VND in cash. General Hospital 115 also organized medical examinations and provided medicine for more than 400 people in the area.

Next, Nghe An Customs Department organized the program "Warm Winter, Volunteer Spring 2024" at Nam Can 1 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities. The delegation presented 10 gifts, each worth 1 million VND in cash, to 10 children in especially difficult circumstances; 1 portable speaker for studying worth 5 million VND, along with 486 woolen hats and scarves to students of Nam Can 1 Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

The total value of the gifts awarded was 200 million VND, an amount donated by Nghe An Customs Department together with 115 General Hospital, as well as mobilizing a number of benefactors to support the poor border commune of Nam Can.
