According to Decision No. 1516/QD-UBND dated April 17, 2017, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee appointed Mr. Nguyen Huu An - Deputy Head of Industry Department, Provincial People's Committee Office to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Transport.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien congratulated Comrade Nguyen Huu An on being appointed by the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Transport.

Appreciating the efforts of comrade Nguyen Huu An during his work, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is an extremely heavy task, so he requested comrade Nguyen Huu An and the collective leadership of the Department of Transport to focus on advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on the field of transport.

In the coming time, the Transport Industry will be assigned a major responsibility, focusing on mobilizing resources for investment and construction to create a clear change in transport infrastructure. Continue to attract capital to implement construction projects in the period of 2016 - 2020: the remaining sections of the Vinh - Cua Lo road; the coastal road from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An); Muong Xen - Ta Lo - Khe Kien road, the road connecting National Highway 48 - National Highway 45; suspension bridges, etc.

Together with the Department of Transport to soon start construction and invest in the construction of the expressway, the section through Nghe An province. Develop transportation, especially expand and upgrade Vinh airport; upgrade Cua Lo port cluster into an international port; increase domestic air transport routes and open international routes to create favorable conditions for tourism development in the province.

Strengthen the management of transport infrastructure investment projects to ensure savings and efficiency in serving socio-economic development. Coordinate with relevant sectors of the province and localities to do a good job of ensuring traffic order and safety, minimizing traffic accidents, focusing on clearing traffic corridors...
