Awarding the decision to appoint the Head of the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone

On the morning of December 5, the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone (EZ) held a ceremony to announce the Decision on the transfer and appointment of the Head of the Board for comrade Le Tien Tri - Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center.

Attending the announcement ceremony were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Ngoc Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board and a number of provincial departments and branches.

In Decision No. 4904/QD-UBND dated December 2, 2019, the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee decided to transfer and appoint for a term of 5 years comrade Le Tien Tri - Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center to hold the position of Head of the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Presenting the Decision on transfer and appointment to comrade Le Tien Tri, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy congratulated the new Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone, and at the same time acknowledged and highly appreciated his capacity, experience and contributions in the positions he has held.

In 2019, the province's investment promotion work had positive results, making important contributions to the province's development. Those achievements were contributed by the effective investment promotion work, including the provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center, headed by comrade Le Tien Tri.

In his new position, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is a great honor and also a great responsibility that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee trust to entrust to the new Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board. If the Southeast Economic Zone develops well and attracts many businesses, it will contribute a very high proportion to the development of the province.

Therefore, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the new Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to immediately get to work, promote the role of a leader, be an exemplary leader, be extremely responsible, dedicated to work; be the center of solidarity, unify cadres and employees, promote democracy to build a strong collective, and complete tasks well.

In particular, the top priority task now is to actively work with central ministries and branches to advise the province to soon submit to the Government and the National Assembly to turn the Southeast Economic Zone into a key coastal economic zone; at the same time, adjust the general planning of the Southeast Economic Zone.

The Southeast Economic Zone Management Board also needs to continue to promote and boost investment attraction; to do so, it must be proactive and coordinate with provincial and central authorities to do a good job of planning, compensation, site clearance, land conversion, and create all conditions for investors to implement projects in the economic zone.

The unit also focuses on building the socio-economic plan of the Southeast Economic Zone for the period of 2021 - 2025 in line with development needs, associated with good management of planning, environment, construction, and construction quality; at the same time, promoting administrative reform, shortening the licensing process within its authority; regularly reviewing and resolutely revoking projects that are behind schedule and do not comply with commitments; guiding investors to fully comply with legal regulations related to the environment, workers, and development process.

To carry out the above tasks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the leaders, officers, employees and workers of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to cooperate, promote the unit's tradition, and help the new Head of the Board to complete his tasks well.

“One individual cannot accomplish such great things, it must be a collective. That collective must be strong, united, unified, sharing, collaborating, cooperating, and encouraging each other,” the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee advised.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Tien Tri - the new Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board promised to promote his role as a leader, a center of solidarity, and constantly innovate to develop the Southeast Economic Zone worthy of the expectations and trust of the province.

Previously, from the beginning of November 2019, comrade Vo Van Hai - Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board retired according to State regulations.

Comrade Le Tien Tri, born in 1969, hometown in Quynh Tan commune, Quynh Luu district. Has professional qualifications as a Construction Engineer, with advanced political theory qualifications.

Before being appointed as Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, Mr. Le Tien Tri had held many positions, including many years working at the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province.

In April 2014, while holding the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, he was transferred to the grassroots level, assuming the position of Secretary of the Thai Hoa Town Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

At the 2nd Congress of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee, term 2015 - 2020 in July 2015, he was re-elected as Secretary of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee. In July 2017, comrade Le Tien Tri was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center.
