(Baonghean.vn) - On December 1, Mr. Dang Van Nam - Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Phuc commune, Tan Ky district, said that he had just completed the procedures to open a savings book for benefactors in Do Luong district for 2-month-old baby Do Ngoc Hoa, in Keo hamlet, Nghia Phuc commune.

Ms. Truong Thi Duong, Hoa's mother, passed away on November 25 after two months in a deep coma due to postpartum hemorrhage.

Faced with that situation, Do Luong Charity Association came to burn incense for Ms. Duong, supported the baby's grandmother with 1.5 million VND to take care of the baby, 600 thousand VND to buy diapers, milk and a savings book worth 13 million VND.

Witnessed by the local Party Committee and authorities, this amount of money is deposited in the bank for a long term. When Hoa turns 18 years old, she can only withdraw it. In case of an accident, the People's Committee of Nghia Phuc commune must intervene to withdraw the above amount. This savings book is sent back to the Nghia Phuc Commune Policy Board for safekeeping.
