Donated 50 breeding pigs to poor households in Tan Hop commune
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 26, 2015, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union coordinated with the Today's Rural Newspaper and the Hanoi Inter-ward Charity Association to donate 50 breeding pigs to 50 poor households in the mountainous commune of Tan Hop, Tan Ky district.

On average, each piglet given to the farmers weighs 15kg. In addition, each household is also supported with 30kg of rice bran, 25kg of mixed bran and 100,000 VND in breeding support money.
The total value of this support program is over 100 million VND. This is the amount donated by members of the Hanoi Inter-ward Charity Association and mobilized support from philanthropists and businesses.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Inter-ward Charity Association also presented 7 gifts of helmets and raincoats to 7 prestigious people in ethnic minorities of Tan Hop commune.
