Donating social security projects worth hundreds of millions of dong in the 'Journey to the revolutionary homeland'
(Baonghean.vn) - The Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security Office, the Youth Union of accompanying units and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated to organize a series of gratitude activities in Nghe An province in the "Journey to the revolutionary homeland".

This program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023); the 78th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' tradition day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023). At the same time, promoting the vanguard spirit of young people in participating in socio-economic development, building new rural areas, and ensuring social security.
The delegation offered flowers and incense at the Kim Lien National Historical Site (Nam Dan) and Truong Bon National Historical Site (Do Luong).
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude and at the same time, pledged to follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho, strive, cultivate, train and devote themselves to the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam, and excellently fulfill their tasks in the new situation.

In a series of social security activities, the delegation held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the "House of Love" for Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhi's family in Hamlet 4, Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhi's family is a particularly poor household in Nam Dan District. Currently, her family is living in a small, unstable house, which is at risk when the heavy rains come.

Faced with that situation, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security Office, the Youth Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, and the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union donated 50,000,000 VND to support her family in building a new, more solid and sturdy house.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Tran Thi Em and Ho Thi Tu in Hamlet 1, Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District. In Do Luong District, the delegation presented 10 gifts worth 10 million VND to families of wounded and sick soldiers.


In Que Phong district, the delegation held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of the project "Pao School, Quang Phong Kindergarten, Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district".
Pao Village Kindergarten, Quang Phong Kindergarten, Quang Phong Commune, Que Phong District has 2 classrooms, with a total of 55 Thai ethnic students (35 boys and 20 girls). Currently, these 2 classrooms are prefabricated houses, built temporarily and the school's toilets do not meet the standards of kindergartens, posing many potential risks. To join hands to support the school, the delegation has started construction of a project with 2 solid classrooms and equipment to support the learning and living of the students here.

Also on the same day, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Police Youth Union coordinated to organize the program "Journey to the revolutionary homeland", presented a "Sports field" project worth 200 million VND, supported the construction of a charity house, a playground for children, a project to light up the countryside roads, organized health check-ups, consultations and free medicine distribution, and presented gifts to policy families and students with difficult circumstances in Nghi Hung commune, Nghi Loc district.
The activities have added more meaning to the 2023 "Summer Youth Volunteers" Campaign, demonstrating the nation's tradition of "Remembering the source of water when drinking" and the spirit of youth volunteerism for social security activities and gratitude.
