Donated over 1.3 billion VND to education workers in difficult circumstances
(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2018-2019 school year, Nghe An Education Trade Union visited and gave gifts to cadres and teachers with serious illnesses, and teachers of non-public schools with difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 1.3 billion VND.
On the afternoon of August 16, Nghe An Education Trade Union held a conference to summarize the 2018-2019 school year and deploy tasks for the 2019-2020 school year.
Attending the conference were representatives of the Vietnam Education Trade Union, the Provincial Labor Federation, the Department of Education and Training, the Labor Federation and the Education Departments of 21 districts, cities and towns in the province.

The industry's trade union has done a good job of representing workers, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of teachers and staff such as: salary, bonus, salary allowance, hourly deduction, social insurance, health insurance, etc.

Nghe An Education Trade Union currently manages and directly directs 97 affiliated grassroots trade unions with 7,186 cadres, teachers and workers; coordinates with the Labor Federations of districts, cities and towns to direct 1,481 grassroots trade unions of educational units with 46,711 people.
In addition, Nghe An Education Trade Union has also connected with Vietnam Education Trade Union and other units, philanthropists, and local authorities to support Ky Son, Tuong Duong, and Con Cuong districts affected by storms and floods; organized Tet reunions for schools, and many other social activities.

In the 2019-2020 school year, Nghe An Education Trade Union set out key tasks, such as: Continuing to promote the Campaign "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity", associated with building a healthy, friendly, positive school cultural environment, saying no to school violence; strengthening coordination between trade unions and professionals in emulating innovation in teaching and learning at educational institutions; taking care of the lives of union members, teachers, and workers...
