The Labor Medal, 3rd class, was awarded to Mr. Phan Khuyen.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 30th, acting on behalf of the President of Vietnam, the Vinh City Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the President's decision to award the Third-Class Labor Medal to Mr. Phan Khuyen, former Chairman of the Association for the Protection of Disabled People and Orphans in Vinh City.

This is a prestigious and well-deserved award from the Party and the State for Mr. Phan Khuyen, recognizing his efforts and achievements after more than 20 years of dedicated service to building and developing the organization for the protection of people with disabilities and orphans, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

The Labor Medal, 3rd class, was awarded to Mr. Phan Khuyen.

Deeply moved upon receiving the Third-Class Labor Medal, Mr. Phan Khuyen, former chairman of the Association for the Protection of Disabled and Orphaned Children in Vinh City, expressed his feelings, stating that despite his age and declining health, and having retired from work, he will continue to connect with and support disabled people in Vinh City. Soon, the Okayama Association for the Protection of Disabled People in Japan will donate 69 wheelchairs to disabled people in Vinh City. This is a foreign organization that Mr. Phan Khuyen connected with during his time working there. With the help of the Okayama Association for the Protection of Disabled People, disabled people in Vinh City now have over 600 wheelchairs for use. On this occasion, Mr. Phan Khuyen also donated 2 million VND from his Third-Class Labor Medal award to the Association for the Protection of Disabled People and the Club for Relatives of Disabled People in Vinh City.
