Awarding groups and individuals for searching and rescuing Su30 MK2 pilots
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 9, at Squadron 2, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a ceremony to present Certificates of Merit from the Border Guard Command to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the search and rescue of the pilot of the Su30 MK2 aircraft that crashed in the waters of Nghe An.
The collective awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Border Guard Command is the officers and soldiers of Squadron 2, Nghe An Border Guard. The individual awarded the Certificate of Merit is fisherman Dau Thanh Kinh, born in 1966, residing in Xuan Duong hamlet, Nghi Xuan commune, Nghi Loc district, the captain of the fishing boat that discovered the body of pilot Tran Quang Khai, who was flying the SU30MK2 aircraft of Regiment 923, Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force, which crashed in the waters of Nghe An on June 14.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Nghe An Border Guard presented Certificates of Merit from the Border Guard Command to the collective of Squadron 2 and fisherman Dau Thanh Kinh; at the same time, they hoped that the collectives and individuals would continue to promote the achievements they have made in the past time, be ready to participate and effectively carry out search and rescue work at sea when situations arise.
