Awards presented for the successful completion of Project 615M.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 29th, Mr. Hoang Danh Lai, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district, presented flowers and congratulated the Criminal, Economic, and Drug Investigation Team of the Quynh Luu District Police on their successful investigation of Special Case 615M.

Previously, at 4 PM on June 26, 2015, the Criminal, Economic, and Narcotics Investigation Team of the District Police successfully investigated and dismantled Case 615M in Hamlet 11, Yen Luu, Quynh Giang Commune, Quynh Luu District; apprehending two suspects: Nguyen Van Tam, born in 1985, residing in Hamlet 11, Yen Luu, Quynh Giang Commune, and Tran Thi Nguyet, born in 1989, residing in Nghia Thai Commune, Tan Ky District, Nghe An Province, for the crime of "illegally buying and selling narcotics." During the arrest, Nguyen Van Tam fiercely resisted the police force with a knife. After a period of persuasion and negotiation, Nguyen Van Tam was subdued and arrested by the district police. During a search of the suspect's residence, the district police seized 12.5g of methamphetamine, one electronic scale, one set of drug paraphernalia, two mobile phones, one 60cm long sword, and one 70cm long machete. In addition, the team apprehended one individual for using methamphetamine in Quynh Hong, and established a community-based rehabilitation program in accordance with the law.

Recognizing the achievements, on June 29, 2015, Comrade Hoang Danh Lai - Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District - visited and presented flowers to the Criminal, Economic, and Drug Crime Investigation Police Team, promptly encouraging and motivating the officers and soldiers to enthusiastically compete to achieve more accomplishments and fight more fiercely in crime prevention and control, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.
