Reward for solving the case of 'murder and robbery on the tea hill'

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 29, Nghe An Provincial Police organized an award ceremony for groups with achievements in investigating and solving the murder and robbery case in Cam Son commune, Anh Son district on May 24.

Attending the event were Colonel Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police. On the side of Anh Son district, there were Mr. Dang Thanh Tung - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Huu Sang - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Committee.

As reported, at around 2:00 p.m. on May 24, Anh Son District Police received a report from Cam Son Commune Police that in the tea garden of Mr. Le Van Hau (Tan Tien village), people discovered a dead body of a male, about 40 years old.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the Chief of Anh Son District Police reported the incident to the leaders of the Provincial Police and the Criminal Police Department and quickly sent a working group to the area to grasp the situation, verify, and collect information to investigate and clarify.

Through initial verification, it was determined that the victim was Nguyen Van Son (born in 1970), residing in hamlet 6, Dai Son commune, Do Luong district, who worked as a cattle trader and had a period of purchasing cattle in Anh Son district.

After nearly 2 hours, the police force of Anh Son district coordinated with the Criminal Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police to urgently and actively verify and investigate, and arrested the perpetrator, Tran Huu Dung (born 1981), residing in village 2, Dinh Son commune, Anh Son district.

Confiscated evidence included 1 motorbike, 1 mobile phone, more than 10 million VND of the victim and 1 knife which was the murder weapon.

With that outstanding achievement, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the leaders of Nghe An province police awarded the forces and officers participating in solving the case, namely PC45, PC54 and Anh Son district police.

On this occasion, Anh Son district also awarded the Anh Son district police with 5 million VND for their outstanding achievements in investigating and solving this particularly dangerous murder and robbery case./.
