Presenting money to support the construction of gratitude houses and martyr cemeteries in Thanh Chuong district
On the afternoon of August 10, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs coordinated with Thanh Chuong district to organize a donation ceremony to support the construction of gratitude houses for relatives of martyrs and martyr cemeteries in the district.
This is an activity to celebrate the 555th anniversary of the name Thanh Chuong (1469 - 2024), the 94th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Party Committee and people of Thanh Chuong district (September 1, 1930 - September 1, 2024).
Attending the house donation ceremony were comrade Trinh Van Nha - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee - Chairman of the District People's Committee; representative of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province.
Here, the delegation presented 50 million VND to Thanh Chuong district to support the construction of gratitude houses for families of martyrs in the district.
This is the 555th house of gratitude that the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An Province called for and mobilized organizations and units to support. This meaningful activity demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution; helping families of martyrs have solid houses, reducing difficulties and stabilizing their lives.
On this occasion, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province also awarded 15 million VND to support Thanh Lam commune (Thanh Chuong) to build a memorial for heroic martyrs.
