The patient's name is Lo Minh Duc, 9 months old, son of c.hMs. Lu Thi Hong in Cam Noc village, Cam Muon commune (Que Phong). Ms. Hong said that on the afternoon of August 1, she went into the forest to dig for bamboo shoots - a type of bamboo shoot - to make food. At about 5:00 p.m. the same day, because she was busy cutting bamboo shoots and did not pay attention, Duc crawled over and put the bamboo shoots in his mouth without her noticing. Not long after that, seeing her child sweating, pale skin, vomiting, crying and having difficulty breathing, Ms. Hong panicked and called her family to take him to the district medical center for emergency care.

According to the center's doctors, fortunately the child was taken to the emergency room in time, otherwise who knows what would have happened. At present, the child is more alert, is receiving intravenous fluids to detoxify and is being monitored.

Also in Que Phong district, in the afternoon of the same day, a woman in Na Phay village, Muong Noc commune was stung by a bee and had to be taken to the emergency room.

Accordingly, Ms. Ha Thi Tuyet (born in 1969), a permanent resident of the above-mentioned area, while going into the forest to collect firewood, accidentally stepped on a large beehive. Being stung by 6-7 bees as big as a thumb, Ms. Tuyet's whole body was swollen, causing her to fall into a state of drowsiness and vomiting. Fortunately, her family discovered the incident and promptly took her to the emergency room.

After being given first aid, Ms. Tuyet was conscious and able to sit up by herself.
