Over 100 recommendations and proposals at dialogue with taxpayers and customs declarants
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the regulations on dialogue with taxpayers and customs declarants, on the afternoon of December 8, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Finance coordinated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize an annual online dialogue with businesses in 2021.
Chairing the conference from the Hanoi bridge point were Ms. Vu Thi Mai - Deputy Minister of Finance and Mr. Pham Tan Cong - Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Also attending were representatives of the General Department of Taxation, the General Department of Customs, departments under the Ministry of Finance and 9 bridge points in the provinces.
Attending the conference from Nghe An bridge were representatives of the Tax Department, Customs Department, VCCI Nghe An Branch and representatives of business associations and entrepreneurs of the province.

Entering the conference, Mr. Pham Tan Cong - Chairman of VCCI opened the conference and stated the purpose of the regulations.Dialogue between tax and customswith taxpayers and customs declarants.
Accordingly, to implement Resolution No. 35/NQ of the Government on supporting enterprises, Directives No. 26 and 07 of the Prime Minister on continuing to implement Resolution 35 and 02/NQ annually on improving national competitiveness, VCCI coordinates with the Ministry of Finance to annually organize dialogues with enterprises to inform and propagate new policies and administrative procedures in the field of tariffs, resolve difficulties and problems, create a favorable environment for business activities and strengthen cooperation between enterprises and tax and customs authorities.

Next, the representative of the Ministry of Finance presented a number of new tax policies in 2021, notably the Resolutions of the National Assembly and the Decrees of the Government onsupport, exemption, late payment of taxes and feesfor people and businesses facing difficulties due to the Covid epidemic. Along with allocating over 35,000 billion VND from the budget to implement financial support packages for the economy, the Government has a number of policies to exempt and reduce sales tax, corporate income tax, and reduce registration fees to remove difficulties for businesses; the Ministry of Finance has implemented many solutions, reformed tax administration, appliedinvoice, electronic declarationto facilitate customs clearance of goods to create sustainable revenue.

In the spirit of openness and frankness, based on the dissemination of information on a number of new tax and customs policies and regulations in 2021, more than 100 opinions from the community of businesses declaring customs and paying taxes were sent to the conference. Among them, the application of customs declaration software, determining taxable revenue, removing difficulties for businesses trading in alcohol, real estate, shipping fees, etc. stood out.

Under the direction of the Ministry of Finance, representatives of the General Department of Taxation and the General Department of Customs responded to the recommendations of businesses and customs declarants; and said that they would receive feedback during the implementation of regulations to synthesize and find solutions.
On behalf of the conference, the representative of the Ministry of Finance pledged to fully absorb and seriously respond to the comments of businesses and, based on the practical situation and regulations of the National Assembly and the Government, have flexible management solutions, creating maximum conditions for businesses.
