(Baonghean.vn) - From October 13th to 19th, 2014, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command of Nghe An successfully completed a command and staff exercise at two levels, conducted on maps with the application of information technology, and partly in the field, including live firing of various types of weapons in their inventory, ensuring absolute safety for personnel and technical equipment.
To implement the 2014 exercise objective, "The Nghe An Provincial Military Command transitions to combat readiness, organizes combat preparations, defeats the 'peaceful evolution' strategy, subversive riots and aggression of hostile forces, and maintains the province's defense zone," the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command established a Steering Committee, a Directing Committee, and training frameworks at all levels; developed a complete and compliant system of documents; organized training and practiced the roles quite skillfully, especially with the good application of information technology; and ensured absolute safety of personnel and weapons and equipment during live-fire exercises and firing of all types of firepower in the inventory...
