(Baonghean) - Since society opened up, it's been a case of "hundreds of flowers blooming" in every aspect of life. It's difficult for monopolies to exist, or if they do, they are quickly eliminated, and life returns to its inherent, necessary values. Take the driving profession, for example. Previously, drivers were considered "the best" in the eyes of many, as they owned vehicles, had opportunities and conditions for doing business, and quickly became wealthy.

Then, with the development of transportation, vehicles became more numerous and cheaper, price differences in trade became insignificant, and driving no longer required year-long training as before. On the contrary, people only studied for 3 months, some even attending sporadically, yet still obtained their licenses and could sit behind the wheel as usual.

Many young people have the money to buy cars, which are more than enough for them to drive, making transactions, business, daily life, and helping others much more convenient. This has now become as normal as buying a motorbike, or even a bicycle, in the old days.

The elderly are no less capable. They can even easily afford several cars, their eyesight is still sharp, and their limbs are still strong enough...

The only problem is…

In Province N, people whispered amongst themselves that the former director had just retired, completed a crash course in driving, and bought a brand-new car. How could he not return to visit his old school? Teachers and students lined up to give him a warm welcome.

Perhaps it was because the road was bumpy? Maybe his heart raced from the formal welcome. As a result, the car didn't go on the road but… into the field!

In District B, there was also a case where someone accidentally rear-ended a pedestrian. Luckily, the incident was quickly hushed up, otherwise it would have caused a lot of trouble.

To give an example, the press recently reported that a deputy director in Ho Chi Minh City, still in office, inexplicably sped recklessly in his car, disregarding traffic in crowded streets.

And the press often uses a very "creative" term: "crazy car"!

The writer kept thinking that there are no crazy cars, no manufacturer would dare to release a crazy car. Perhaps the reason cars still run and speed erratically is because of the chaos of the car market and the job market, because old people think they're still young, or because there's a drunk person in the car?!
