Resolutely implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"

After 18 years of implementing the movement, the whole country has had many typical models and effective methods that have been popularized, researched, learned, and replicated. Over 1,200,000 examples of good people and good deeds; 19,064,069/22,236,778 families have been recognized as "Cultural Families"; 69,024/106,382 cultural villages, hamlets, villages, and residential groups have been recognized; 84,785/114,972 cultural agencies, units, and enterprises.

In addition to the achieved results, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" also revealed some limitations and weaknesses that need to be overcome. That is, the awareness of the purpose and significance of building the movement by some local Party committees and authorities is not profound and comprehensive, especially in connection with the economic and social development of the locality and the country.

Coordination between the member agencies of the Central Steering Committee and the Steering Committees of some localities is not close and regular. Evaluation of cultural titles in some localities is still lenient, not following the Central's guidelines and regulations...

At the conference, representatives of provinces, cities, and clans reported on the results achieved in building the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"; at the same time, proposed directions, tasks, and solutions to implement the movement in the coming time.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc acknowledged and commended the results achieved in implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

In the coming time, the Central Steering Committee needs to develop a plan, comprehensively inspect implementation, innovate content and methods of operation towards efficiency.closely follow the reality, focus, key points; continue to propagate and mobilize people to actively participate in responding and implementing well the contents of the movement, multiply typical advanced examples, good people and good deeds in implementing the movement, good practices, creative applications in propaganda and mobilization; seriously, closely, objectively and fairly carry out the evaluation of cultural titles in accordance with regulations;

Encourage organizations and individuals to participate in investing and supporting movements, creating all necessary conditions for people to proactively organize cultural and sports activities to improve cultural life at the grassroots level... Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially at the district level, should devote more resources and time to the movement of All people uniting to build a cultural life.

Receiving the instructions of the Prime Minister, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized: The movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life is a very important content, within the great ideology of the Central Committee that culture is the goal of socio-economic development.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son suggested that after this conference, all levels and sectors focus on directing and implementing drastic measures so that the movement can have new and strong changes.
