An exhibition of ancient photographs and maps with the theme "The Homeland Seen from the Sea".

On the morning of June 14th, at the Youth Cultural Center in District 1, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition of ancient Vietnamese photographs and maps with the theme "The Homeland Seen from the Sea."

The exhibition aims to foster a spirit of national pride and a sense of honor in the more than 4,000-year history of the Vietnamese people's struggle to build and defend their nation.

The exhibition features 93 maps affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over its maritime territories and islands, spanning from ancient times to the feudal periods and the period from 1945 to the present. These valuable documents were collected, preserved, and presented for display by researcher Nguyen Dinh Dau.

Besides displaying ancient maps, the exhibition also showcases the activities of the city's youth in promoting patriotism, raising awareness of maritime sovereignty, cultural and artistic performances about the sea and islands, fundraising activities for "Beloved Truong Sa," "Joining Hands to Build the DKI Platform," and "Joining Hands to Protect the Sovereignty of the East Sea"...

The exhibition runs until June 21st.
