As part of Hanoi's cultural activities celebrating the 67th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, a special exhibition titled "Hanoi: Perspectives Through Time," created using 3D technology, will be held from August 30th to September 4th at the Exhibition Center, 45 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi. The exhibition is organized by the Hanoi Cultural Foundation and 3D Hanoi Company.
The exhibition is organized into different time periods: the Old Quarter of Hanoi, Hanoi's heritage buildings, and the lifestyle of Hanoians. It features 100 products, including photographs and 3D films, recreating the atmosphere of Hanoi's Old Quarter from the late 19th to the mid-20th century.
An elegant and ancient Hanoi, with its 36 old streets and historical landmarks such as the Grand Opera House, One Pillar Pagoda, and Khue Van Cac Pavilion, allows viewers to systematically remember the depth and emotion of Hanoi. The exhibition introduces and promotes the rich cultural and historical image of Hanoi in an impressive way to Vietnamese people in particular and international tourists in general through a multi-faceted perspective.
Introducing the new features of the exhibition, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang – a member of the Organizing Committee – said: This exhibition is not limited to static images or 3D films, but features direct interaction with the ancient spaces of Hanoi through modern devices such as iPads and smartphones. Therefore, viewers do not need to go directly to the Exhibition Center at 45 Trang Tien to see these paintings; they can visit the exhibition from home, or even while walking on the street, and learn about the culture, architecture, and history of Hanoi.
