A book exhibition about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh was prominently displayed at the 22nd Cuba International Book Fair in the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress area. Taking place from February 15-24, the 2013 Cuba International Book Fair attracted the participation of 150 publishing houses from 31 countries.

Held since 1959, the Cuban International Book Fair has become a cherished tradition in Havana. This year's fair is especially honoring two individuals: Pedro Pablo Rodriguez (a scholar who studies Jose Marti) and Daniel Chavarria, a Uruguayan writer currently residing in Cuba and winner of the 2011 Cuban National Literature Prize, author of renowned novels such as Joy and Adios Muchachos.
