Destroyed 2 cockfighting arenas, detained 69 subjects
Two days apart, Thanh Binh District Police coordinated with Dong Thap Province Criminal Police to raid two cockfighting arenas and arrest dozens of gamblers.
At noon on March 15, Thanh Binh District Police (Dong Thap) coordinated with the Criminal Police Department to catch 45 subjects red-handed, gambling on cockfighting at an empty lot in Trung Hamlet (Tan Thanh Commune).

At the scene, the force temporarily seized: 14 roosters, 35 motorbikes, 34 mobile phones and 70 million VND.
Previously, at the vacant lot of Tan An hamlet (Tan Hue commune), Thanh Binh district police also arrested 24 people for gambling on cockfighting.
The seized exhibits include 9 roosters, 44 motorbikes, 18 mobile phones, and over 17 million VND. Both cases are under investigation.
