Dismantling a 4,000 billion VND gambling ring using card games
Police have detained 9 suspects and are searching for the mastermind behind the online gambling organization in the form of card games.
On May 28, the Criminal Police Department (Thanh Hoa Police) dismantled a large-scale online gambling and card game exchange ring led by Tran Quang Truong (30 years old, on the run).

Police said the mastermind group built a system of level 1 and level 2 agents for players to buy and sell virtual currency to play games, paying directly or transferring via bank accounts.
The total amount of gambling transactions is estimated at nearly 4,000 billion VND. Thanh Hoa police have frozen more than 6 billion VND at banks to serve the investigation.
