Eliminate 2 synthetic drug trafficking lines

On April 26, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said that on April 24 and 25, the unit coordinated with related forces to successfully break up 2 special cases and eradicate 2 drug trafficking rings.drug traffickingfrom Nghe An to other provinces in the country for consumption, arrested 2 subjects, seized 7,200 MTTH pills and many related exhibits.

At the end of March 2021, from information provided by the masses and the process of verifying information and documents collected by detectives about the drug trafficking and trading ring from Que Phong to other provinces for consumption. The key subject in the ring is Vi Trong Toan (born in 1984), residing in Huu Khuong commune, Tuong Duong district. The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police reported and asked for the opinion of the Provincial Police leaders to establish a special project to fight.

After a period of investigation, firmly grasping all movements of the subjects in the ring, at about 10:00 a.m. on April 25, at the Huoi Luong bridge intersection, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, when Vi Trong Toan was conducting a drug transaction, the Drug Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police coordinated with the Nam Can International Border Gate Customs Branch, My Ly Border Guard Station (Ky Son) and Tri Le Border Guard Station (Que Phong) to catch him red-handed, seizing at the scene 6,000 synthetic drug pills, 01 motorbike, 01 mobile phone.

At the police station, Vi Trong Toan initially confessed that after agreeing to supply drugs to a subject named Minh, Toan rode a motorbike from Tuong Duong to Que Phong to get the goods from an acquaintance, then left the motorbike behind and walked through the forest to the meeting place to trade drugs when he was arrested.

Previously, by implementing professional measures, drug prevention and control detectives of Nghe An Provincial Police discovered a drug trafficking ring from Laos to Tuong Duong district, then transferred to the southern provinces for consumption. The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police established a special project to fight and eradicate it.

At around 8:00 a.m. on April 24, 2021, in Chau Dinh village, Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department presided over and coordinated with Con Cuong district police and Nam Can International Border Gate Customs Branch to successfully break up a case, arresting Duong Dinh Minh (born in 1996), residing in Thach Khe commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh for illegally transporting drugs, seizing 1,200 synthetic drug pills and 2 mobile phones.

Currently, the drug investigation police department is continuing to investigate and expand the cases.
