Eliminate drug den in rented room in Vinh City
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 3, Vinh City Police said they were temporarily detaining Nguyen Duc Binh (born 1989), residing in Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district, to investigate and clarify the act of illegally storing drugs.
Previously, after a period of monitoring and verification, at 10:30 a.m. on March 1, 2022, at Ms. H's family's rented room in Hoa Hop hamlet, Nghi An commune, Vinh city, Nghi An commune police caught red-handed Nguyen Duc Binh, born in 1989, residing in Nghi Trung commune, Nghi Loc district, for illegal possession of drugs.
Searching Binh's person and in his room, the police seized 146 synthetic drug pills and 0.485g of crystal meth.

Subject Binh confessed that the above drugs were purchased by Binh for his own use and to resell to other subjects in need. Notably, at the time of arrest, in addition to Binh, there were 02 other subjects (01 male, 01 female) in the rented room. The subjects gathered with Binh to prepare to use drugs, but were checked and arrested by Nghi An Commune Police.
It is known that Ms. H's family's rented room in Hoa Hop hamlet, Nghi An commune is the place rented by Nguyen Duc Binh and other subjects to gather and illegally use drugs, negatively affecting the security and order situation in the area.
The case is being further investigated and handled by the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team (Vinh City Police)./.
