Audi A4 and A5 cars recalled in Vietnam
Audi Vietnam is recalling A4 and A5 models to fix errors in the chrome trim on the door speakers.

The official Audi distributor in the Vietnamese market has just announced that it will recall 89 A4 and A5 cars to fix errors.
The announcement said that during the process of checking and monitoring product quality, Audi AG (Germany) discovered that on some A4 and A5 Sportback vehicles, the adhesive layer between the trim (chrome plated) and the speaker grille at the car door did not meet the required quality.
During use, the chrome-plated trim on the speaker grille may loosen and fall off, which could pose a danger to passengers. Therefore, Audi AG requests all official Audi distributors worldwide to check the list of related vehicles and conduct a recall to fix the error.
A total of 89 vehicles in the Vietnamese market are subject to recall, including 63 A4s and 26 A5 Sportbacks, all manufactured between October 2014 and October 2017.
"There have been no reports of any incidents occurring to users in Vietnam. The Audi A4 and A5 Sportback models were still operating safely at the time of inspection. However, the recall is mandatory to ensure consumer rights and user safety," the German car company said.
For non-genuinely distributed vehicles subject to recall as announced by Audi AG, if consumers bring their vehicles to authorized service stations, Audi Vietnam will assist in contacting the group and performing inspection and repair upon approval from Audi AG.
The recall program will take place from April 15, 2018 to December 31, 2019 and has been registered with the Vietnam Register for coordination and monitoring. It is expected that the inspection and error correction time will take about 30 minutes for each vehicle./.
