North Korea suddenly warns China
North Korea has reportedly warned China of 'disastrous consequences' in bilateral relations if Beijing sides with the US.
Although the article "Are you good at dancing to other people's music?" published on April 22, the North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) did not directly mention "China", according to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, this article was aimed at Beijing.

Yonhap commented that it is rare for Pyongyang to raise its criticism of Beijing. The article warned that China will surely face consequences in bilateral relations as long as it continues to impose economic sanctions on North Korea like the US is punishing the country.
China is now North Korea's largest trading partner and the two countries have a history of good cooperation.
North Korea observers said the commentary appeared to be Pyongyang's response after Chinese experts and media called on the Chinese government to step up sanctions against North Korea, including cutting off oil exports, if it conducts a sixth nuclear test.
