North Korea threatens to use nuclear weapons in retaliation against the US.

According to Yonhap, North Korea's state-run news agency KCNA reported on September 27 that the country threatened to use nuclear weapons in retaliation against the United States if Washington policymakers continued to threaten Pyongyang with nuclear weapons.

Earlier, on September 26, the Institute for International Studies on North Korea released a document detailing what it called Washington's nuclear crimes.

According to the institute, the criminal nature of Washington's nuclear policy is most clearly seen in the US stance toward North Korea.

KCNA, citing the institute, emphasized: "As long as the United States exists on Earth, a world without nuclear weapons will remain a daydream, and our planet will only be at peace without American aggression. The more the U.S. increases its nuclear threat, the more we will strengthen our nuclear capabilities a hundred thousand times over."
