North Korea agrees to destroy intercontinental ballistic missiles
North Korea reaches deal with CIA to eliminate long-range nuclear-tipped missiles and declare nuclear arsenal.

The decision to destroy intercontinental ballistic missiles and open up the nuclear arsenal to inspectors was made by North Korea after final talks with a group of officials.Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and nuclear experts, Japanese newspaperAsahi Shimbuntoday citing anonymous sources.
This group of US officials and experts had a week-long visit to Pyongyang in late April to exchange with the North Korean side.However, the two sides have not yet reached an agreement.the timing of the deal and the conditions North Korea would put forward in exchange for destroying the missiles.
The visit to North Korea by a group of US experts took place right before the upcoming summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.The issue of complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula will be the main content of this historic meeting.
Kim Jong-un held a summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in at Panmunjom on April 27. The joint statement after the meeting emphasized that North Korea and South Korea will soon sign a peace treaty to end the war, and pledged to work towards the goal of denuclearization of the peninsula.
However, after the meeting, many experts remained skeptical about North Korea's commitment, saying that Pyongyang had not provided any specific information about steps to completely destroy its nuclear arsenal./.
