Submit the Central Executive Committee planning for the 2021-2026 term in December

On the afternoon of December 3, speaking at the online conference of the Party building sector, comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Head of the Central Organization Committee requested the entire sector to focus on performing well the tasks in December, including summarizing and evaluating the results of 2 years of implementing the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (12th Term) on strengthening Party building and rectification, preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party.

Another important task of the Central Organizing Committee is to develop a strategic-level cadre plan, focusing on advising on the planning of the Central Executive Committee for the 2021-2026 term to be presented to the 9th Central Conference (12th tenure) which will take place in December.

In addition, according to Mr. Chinh, the Party Organization and Building sector must continue to do a good job of regular personnel work; complete the review, appraisal and approval of the planning of cadres at the Central level, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee management level...

"We must fight against the practice of buying and selling positions, power, harassment and abuse in personnel work, ensure quality, and carry out related work according to procedures, democratically, publicly and objectively. The procedures are strict, but we must find a way to avoid mistakes like the ones we encountered recently," said Mr. Chinh.

Comrade Vu Duc Bao - Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Board commented that personnel work in general, including planning, is currently regulated very strictly, transparently and according to clear steps. "Therefore, there is almost no running around in introducing personnel" - he said.

Head of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Lai The Nguyen added that the Central's instructions clearly state the conditions of each case of planned cadres, so "they cannot run away".

According to the report at the conference, in the past time, the Central Organizing Committee and the entire Party Organization and Construction sector have focused on advising on the implementation of projects and tasks in the 2018 work program, completing 3 projects, reporting to the Politburo and Secretariat for approval. Including the project on planning the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat and key leadership positions of the Party and State for the 2021-2026 term.

The 12th Party Central Committee is expected to hold its 9th Conference in December 2018 to conduct a vote of confidence for Politburo members, Secretariat members..., and consider the proposal for the planning of the Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
