Returning from an epidemic area but not declaring health, young man fined
(Baonghean.vn) - Returning from an area with a Covid-19 epidemic, a young man did not promptly declare his health status to local authorities and was fined 1 million VND.
On August 6, Chairman of the People's Committee of Huu Kiem Commune (Ky Son), Mr. Nguyen Huu Luong, said that in the commune, there was 1 case returning from a province with a Covid-19 epidemic but did not declare health status in time.

That is the case of Vi Van Mo (born in 1985), in Dinh Son 2 village, Huu Kiem commune. Mo often goes to work in other provinces.
On August 2, Vi Van Mo returned from Hanoi to Ky Son. Local authorities received information and asked Vi Van Mo to go to a medical facility to declare his travel history, but Mo did not comply.

Therefore, on August 4, the People's Committee of Huu Kiem commune requested Vi Van Mo to declare and at the same time issued a decision to impose an administrative fine of 1 million VND on him for violations in the health sector. The Huu Kiem commune government also requested Mo to self-isolate at home for 14 days. Medical staff and the village will monitor him regularly.
It is known that in Huu Kiem commune, there are currently 33 cases of local workers returning from other provinces who have all been asked to self-isolate at home.
