Woman caught stealing free-range cows to sell for money
(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of people's habit of letting their cattle roam free, Kha Thi Huong stole two cows and sold them for personal expenses.
On May 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police (Nghe An Province) said: The unit is completing procedures to prosecute the case and prosecute the suspect Kha Thi Huong (born in 1965), residing in Xop Nhi village, Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district, for theft of property.
Previously, on May 22, Ky Son District Police continuously received reports from Mr. Luong Van Tuan, residing in Na Luong 2 village, Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district and Mrs. Kha Thi Khuyen, residing in Xop Nhi village, Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district about: Mr. Tuan and Mrs. Khuyen's family had been broken into by thieves who stole the family's cow.

Immediately after receiving the report, the police officers of Ky Son district coordinated with the police of Huu Kiem commune to be present at the scene, collecting documents and evidence. At the same time, they checked, isolated and screened suspicious subjects inside and outside the area. Thanks to the synchronous implementation of professional measures, on May 22, the authorities quickly identified Kha Thi Huong as the culprit who stole two cows from Mr. Tuan and Ms. Khuyen.

The suspect Huong was arrested by the authorities immediately after that. At the police station, Kha Thi Huong initially gave a vague statement, trying to deny her crime. However, with solid evidence from the investigation agency, the suspect Huong confessed to her crime. Accordingly, taking advantage of the fact that the cows were grazing freely in the forest without anyone watching them, Kha Thi Huong stole cows from Ms. Khuyen and Mr. Tuan and then sold them to a man in Chieu Luu commune for 29,600,000 VND.
Currently, the Ky Son District Police Investigation Agency has found the cow and returned it to the owners.
