Dog thief beaten to death by villagers.

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 5:30 AM on June 10th, as people in Hamlet 3, Tan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District were waking up and preparing to go to the rice paddies, they spotted two individuals on a motorbike suspected of being dog thieves, carrying a bag of tools and fleeing with a dog in their arms. Seeing this, the villagers shouted and chased after the two suspects.

After riding for a short distance, the two suspects fell off their motorbike, at which point the locals surrounded them and beat them. The motorbike they were using was also burned to ashes.

The local police arrived to escort the two injured suspects to the station for questioning, but they were surrounded by a crowd. The car carrying the two suspects was unable to move for many hours.

According to local residents, the two suspects resided in Hamlet 1, Dien Lam Commune, Dien Chau District. One of them later died.

The case is currently under investigation by the police.
