(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Nguyen Hong Trung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Hong Commune (Dien Chau) confirmed that Dien Chau 2 High School located in the commune had just experienced a major property theft.

Accordingly, on the morning of November 19, when the accounting staff arrived at work at the school, they discovered that the treasurer's room door was open, and at the same time, the safe in the room had been drilled open by a thief, who stole a large amount of assets.

According to Mr. Trung, there was a security camera installed in the room, but the thief used a piece of cloth to cover it before taking action.

Immediately after that, the incident was reported to the Principal and the authorities. Upon receiving the news, Dien Chau District Police arrived to examine the scene and take statements from those involved to investigate the cause of the incident.

Confirming the incident, Mr. Tran Nguyen Hong - Vice Principal of the school said that the police are currently working so they do not know the exact amount of money stolen.
