Stolen dozens of sets of guardrail fences to sell as scrap
(Baonghean.vn) - To have money to spend, a group of teenagers in Nghi Loc district stole the connecting accessories between the guardrail fence between National Highway 1A and the railway.
On the morning of October 31, information from Nghi Loc police said they were expanding the investigation into the theft of connecting accessories between the guardrail fence between National Highway 1A and the North-South railway.
Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on October 29, Task Force No. 3 of Nghi Loc District Police coordinated with Cau Cam Railway Station to catch Ngo Van H. (16 years old) and Bui Van L. (14 years old), both residing in Nghi Yen Commune, in the act of stealing connecting accessories to hold the fence.

Expanding the investigation, Nghi Loc district police arrested Hoang Van H. (14 years old, residing in Nghi Yen commune) for participating in the theft.
During the investigation, the subjects confessed that they had sold the stolen accessories to a scrap metal kiosk (in Hamlet 4 Nghi Yen) to get money to spend. At the scrap metal kiosk, the authorities seized 44 sets of accessories.
According to the Cau Cam railway supply unit, the guardrail fence between National Highway 1A and the railway, from km 297+150 to km 298+720, had 102 sets of connecting accessories stolen.
