Stealing hundreds of gold bars with just a screwdriver

According to authorities, in 2010, after being released from prison forTheft of property, Nam continued to commit crimes and was wanted by the police of Bac Ninh and Hai Duong provinces.
He fled to China and then returned to Vietnam, using a fake ID card to live in Yen Bai province. He opened a pawn shop, rented cars, raised fighting cocks... but still did not give up the idea of breaking into a large gold shop.
On August 26, 2017, Nam broke into Trang Ngoc gold shop in Nam Ha ward, Ha Tinh city, and took 1,200 taels of gold, worth more than 3 billion VND.
At the end of May 2018, Nam took a bus from Yen Bai to Hanoi and then to Moc Chau town (Son La). Discovering an unattended gold shop at night, at 11pm on May 31, he climbed over an electric pole to break in and stole all the gold and 40 million VND.
In early October in Lang Son city, Nam climbed into a gold shop, used a screwdriver to pry open the cabinet and took gold worth more than two billion dong...
Using the same trick, at 1am on December 6, Nam broke into a gold shop in Lai Chau city, broke open the cabinet and took away about 300 taels of gold.
According to the leader of Room 6 (Police Department), Nam was arrested on December 21, confessed that he often sold stolen goods in China and "burned" it all on gambling. The tool he always carried with him was a screwdriver.
Police suspect that Nam has committed many other gold shop robberies, so they are expanding their investigation.
