Stole money from grandmother to buy iPhone 13 Pro Max for girlfriend
Suspect Tran Ngoc Son broke into his grandmother's house and stole tens of millions of dong to buy an iPhone 13 Pro Max for his girlfriend.
On the morning of June 2, the investigation police agency of Cho Moi District Police (An Giang) prosecuted and temporarily detained Tran Ngoc Son (23 years old, residing in An Thanh Trung commune) to investigate the act of "Theft of property".

According to the investigation, on May 18, Son passed by the house of Nguyen Thi Bach Lien (67 years old, Son's grandmother) and saw the door closed. Knowing that his grandmother was not at home, Son had the intention of stealing property.
Son climbed over the wall, broke into his grandmother's house, opened the safe and stole more than 74 million VND.
Son took the stolen money home and hid it. That same afternoon, Son bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max worth nearly 35 million VND as a gift for his girlfriend.

The grandmother discovered the theft and reported it to the police. During the investigation, Cho Moi District Police discovered that Son was a suspect and invited him in for questioning. Son confessed to the crime and handed over the remaining money.
