As one of the large tea factories in Hanh Lam (Thanh Chuong), in recent days, Duong Huong tea factory has mobilized up to 40 workers to work in shifts, ensuring the production line operates 24/7 to promptly process all the tea for the people in the area with a capacity of 35 tons of fresh tea buds/day.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, owner of a tea factory, said: “For about 10 days now, the price of fresh tea buds has increased by about 1,000 VND/kg compared to the beginning of the season. We are currently purchasing fresh tea buds from people at 3,600 - 3,900 VND/kg, the highest price in the past 2 years. Although not the highest, it is a price that tea growers can profit from and accept during the current complicated epidemic situation.”
