The gala announcing the results of the sixth season of Vietnam Idol took place on the evening of August 2nd in Ho Chi Minh City. (Correct.)as expectedTrong Hieu surpassed Bich Ngoc with over 70% of the votes, winning the title of champion in this music competition. He received a cash prize of 600 million VND.

The new champion was moved when his grandmother came on stage to give him flowers. Trong Hieu was born in 1992 in Germany. Although he was passionate about singing from a young age, his mother sometimes wanted him to become a lawyer. However, in the end, the young man convinced his family to support him in pursuing music. He participated in stage performances from a very young age. Trong Hieu was in the Top 25 of German Idol and also won many awards for dancing.

Despite being widely predicted to win, Trong Hieu was still surprised and overwhelmed with emotion when his name was announced as the winner.

Bich Ngoc won the runner-up prize in this year's competition. Thanh Bui commented that in the six seasons of Idol, he hasn't seen anyone with a voice as high-quality and powerful as Bich Ngoc's. He believes she has the potential to become a diva in the Vietnamese music industry in the near future.

Trong Hieu and Bich Ngoc performed equally well at the awards gala, but Trong Hieu had a slight advantage due to his larger fan base. Besides their two solo performances, they also performed the hit song "Man in the Mirror" with judge Thanh Bui.

The top two contestants performed a mashup of "Shine Your Light - Stronger". Singer Uyên Linh, when interviewed that night, revealed that she texted her vote for Bích Ngọc. Meanwhile, judge Quang Dũng texted his vote for both contestants.

Earlier, to open the gala night, the two finalists and the top 8 of Vietnam Idol gave a vibrant performance. They sang enthusiastically, without the pressure of winning or losing, and conveyed many emotions to the audience.

Thu Minh took to the stage to perform her new single, "Don't Love" (composed by Trang Phap). The singer emotionally thanked Thanh Bui for persuading her to participate as a judge on Vietnam Idol this year. She also offered advice to the top two in the final night: "Remember to always sing with the same innocence and emotion as you did on the Vietnam Idol stage today. I hope this competition helps you gain more experience and passionate energy for the challenging road ahead."
