Trong Hoang opens up about new plans at SLNA

PV: There are many clubs inviting you, so why do you want to return to play for your hometown team?

Trong Hoang:SLNA is the club where Hoang started his football career. This is the place that trained and instilled in Hoang the spirit of determination and dedication. It can be said that without the guidance of the club, there would be no Trong Hoang like today. That is why Hoang really wants to contribute in the shirt of the Nghe An team. Previously, for many objective reasons, the clubSLNAcould not retain the stars that the club had trained. However, since the new sponsor took over, the yellow team has shown many positive signs. In particular, the club has retained many important players, in addition to signing many good players who had grown up from the SLNA training center to serve the hometown team. And an important thing is that the Nghe An club is showing many big ambitions in the future, so Hoang is very happy that he is now a part of SLNA.

PV:In 2011, many factors converged to help SLNA win the championship, so what do you expect from the Nghe An team now so that the team can repeat that achievement?

Trong Hoang:It can be said that 2011 was a very memorable season for SLNA and Hoang personally. It was a very successful season for the club and Hoang. At that time, there were many factors that brought success to the team. The club had a quality squad, many players with very high performance, along with that the team was always lucky when throughout the season no player suffered an unfortunate injury. In the squad of the Nghe An team at that time, there were many players who had played together for quite a long time (they played together from the youth team to the first team), so they understood each other very well, had a very high level of cohesion and understanding.

Besides, Hoang thought that SLNA at that time hadCoach Nguyen Huu Thangis a coach with courage and experience in the V.League arena. He has been associated with Nghe An football for many years, so he understands and offers many reasonable tactics to help the club compete well. Those factors have helped SLNA have a successful season.

Entering this season, the Nghe team also made the right moves, bringing in star players who had grown up from their own training ground. In addition, the players who are playing for the first team have all played together for a long time, so they understand each other very well, which is a very united team. In addition, the club is very determined, so Hoang thinks that the Nghe team this year has all the elements to be successful. This will be a very worth watching, very much awaited season for SLNA.

PV:When you wear the yellow SLNA shirt to compete, how will it be different when wearing the shirt of another club?

Trong Hoang:For Hoang personally, SLNA is not only the place where he plays, but it is also the pride of his hometown, his home, his family that he has been attached to since childhood. Therefore, wearing the familiar yellow shirt is an honor, pride, happiness, a closeness that cannot be found anywhere else.

PV:What do you remember most when playing for SLNA Club?

Trong Hoang:What Hoang remembers most when playing for SLNA is the Nghe fans. They are like a family and always cheer for the players with all their heart. No matter where the team plays or what the results are, the fans always support them enthusiastically. For Hoang personally, when playing for another club or the national team, the Nghe fans always have the most sincere feelings for him, those are the things that Hoang always remembers and cherishes the most.

PV:If you and your hometown team win the V.League championship in the future, how do you think you will feel?

Trong Hoang:As a player, when entering the field, everyone wants to win, yearns to be a champion. If we can achieve that with our hometown team, it will be a great happiness for every player. As for Hoang, he doesn’t want to say anything in advance, our ancestors often say “don’t say anything before you step forward”. Therefore, Hoang just wants to try his best, dedicate himself to the club, to the fans of Nghe An and hopes to achieve the best results.

PV:What is your goal with SLNA in the new season?

Trong Hoang:Hoang's biggest goal is to actively practice treatment to recover from his injury soon. Through the treatment process, Hoang's injury has now shown positive signs, according to the assessment, Hoang has recovered about 60-70%. Hoang believes that he will soon return, to be able to devote himself to the upcoming season in SLNA's shirt. Furthermore, Hoang hopes to achieve the highest ranking in the new season with SLNA, at least in the top 3. Hoang believes that with SLNA's current potential, that is completely possible.

PV:As an experienced player, what do you want to say to the current young players of SLNA?

Trong Hoang:In fact, Hoang is just a brother, a predecessor, like the young people before him, Hoang has gone through similar stages. The children at SLNA have a great desire, which is very important and necessary. Hoang hopes that you will always keep that desire. When you work with effort, seriously, always think about football with all your love and passion, you will definitely bring a worthy result for yourself.

PV:What will playing in your hometown, being close to home bring to you?

Trong Hoang:Playing for SLNA, in addition to contributing to his hometown team, Hoang can spend more time with his family. That is also an opportunity for Hoang to be close to, share, and show affection to his wife and children. When he was young, Hoang often had to play away from home. Therefore, during that time, he did not have many opportunities to take care of his parents. Now that he is old and has young children, Hoang thinks that being close to home is very convenient, so that Hoang can make up for the feelings for his loved ones.

PV:The New Year is approaching, what do you wish for in 2022? What wishes do you want to send to your fans on the occasion of Tet?

Trong Hoang:Hoang knows that most people have not had a really favorable 2021. Entering the new year, Hoang hopes that this will be a brighter new beginning, the epidemic situation will be well controlled and everyone's life and work will gradually stabilize.
