Chili pepper is a new crop that Thanh Van has introduced for experimental planting this winter-spring crop on the alluvial land along the Lam River, with a scale of 2 hectares to diversify agricultural products and build an economic model for high income.
This is a model supported by the Provincial Department of Rural Agriculture Development with 50% of seeds and techniques. Over time, implementation has shown clear effectiveness.
According to Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thien, representative of Thanh Van Agricultural Cooperative, the Cooperative is currently coordinating and signing contracts with businesses in Quynh Luu to purchase products for the people.Although it is just the beginning, but from the economic efficiency, it is hoped that chili will be a commodity crop to increase farmers' income.
