Referee from Nghe An won the Bronze Whistle award for the 2019 season
(Baonghean.vn) – Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thai is one of two Nghe An referees working at the V.League National Championship in recent years. At the end of the 2019 season, this referee won the "Bronze Whistle" award voted by VFF and VPF.
On October 30, the Referee Board of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and VPF conducted a vote count for the titles for referees and assistant referees for the 2019 season. The titles were voted for by the votes of the VFF, the Referee Board and the VPF Executive Board.
Accordingly, FIFA Referee Hoang Ngoc Ha won the "Golden Whistle" with the highest score - 41 points (11 votes for 3 points, 4 votes for 2 points), far surpassing referee Ngo Duy Lan (Long An) who won the "Silver Whistle" with 30 points.

Referee Nguyen Dinh Thai (Nghe An) won the "Bronze Whistle" title in 2019. The referee, born in 1979, started working in the V.League in 2017 and has successfully completed his duties for many years. In the 2019 season, he officiated more than 20 matches in the V.League and many important matches in the National Cup.

Besides referee Nguyen Dinh Thai, referee Tran Duy Khanh of Nghe An also regularly officiates important matches of V.League and National Cup. Referee Duy Khanh was a FIFA qualified assistant last year.
