The whole country waited overnight to watch the A80 Parade and Marching Rehearsal
Although the rehearsal only took place about 12 hours later, Hanoians gathered early on many central streets to find a good spot to watch. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as groups of families and friends patiently waited, regardless of the weather.

It's raining heavily, but tens of thousands of people are still waiting to watch the parade rehearsal.
At midnight, at the Hai Ba Trung – Le Duan intersection, the rain was getting heavier and heavier. However, many people still wore raincoats and held umbrellas to save their seats. The bustling atmosphere and excitement made the rain seem lighter for those waiting.
People flocked to the center of the capital
Many people from other provinces also flocked to the capital with pride and excitement, contributing to the vibrant colors of the great festival of the whole nation.

On many routes, local forces set up makeshift tents and arranged volunteers to help distribute water, snacks, and chairs to people.
In parallel, many households and shops voluntarily opened their doors and arranged tables and chairs on the porch to watch the parade together. These simple actions turned the sidewalk into a “community grandstand”, where acquaintances and even strangers could sit next to each other, chat and wait in a warm, united atmosphere.
