Trump boasts of stopping a “big war” in Asia
The White House owner announced that the United States and North Korea are looking for a suitable location for a new meeting of the two countries' leaders.

Donald Trump assured journalists that Pyongyang and Washington were having "very good conversations", and suggested that thanks to his election as US President, the world had avoided a "major war" in Asia, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Trump boasted despite the fact that in his New Year's message, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un warned that the cause of denuclearization could be broken if the United States did not lift sanctions against the country.Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump insisted that the US-North Korea negotiations were going smoothly. At the same time, he stressed that the US administration was not prepared to ease restrictions in relations with North Korea.
In addition, Trump expressed the view that thanks to his leadership, the world has avoided international conflict. "A major war would have started in Asia if people had not elected me as President of the United States," Trump said.
Among the potential locations for the second US-North Korea Summit, Vietnam is the option.
