"The Red Hen should focus more on cleaning the roof, doors and windows (which are in dire need of repainting) instead of refusing to serve a good person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders,"CNNquoted President Donald Trump posted on Twitter today.
He continued to declare: "I always have a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it's dirty on the inside!".
Sanders said last weekend that she "politely left" when asked by the restaurant owner because she worked for Mr. Trump.
“I stuttered a little bit, but I spoke politely and directly,” said owner Stephanie Wilkinson. “I explained that the restaurant has certain standards that I feel it upholds, like honesty, compassion, and cooperation. I said, ‘I’d like to ask you to leave.’”
The incident occurred shortly after Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen left a Mexican restaurant in Washington after protesters confronted her there.
